There’s usually a practical layer: laptop, wallet, phone, charger. Then comes the emergency layer: tissues, snacks, hair ties, and enough lip balm to supply a small team. Finally, there’s the mystery layer. This is where the lone earring and outdated receipt live.
Maybe that’s why choosing the right bag matters. A smart layout won’t stop a child from giving you a rock, but it can at least give that rock its own pocket.
